EURO | RX
Available in three versions
The EURO | RX glass is an X-ray protective glass. It is made from high quality optical materials, providing excellent radiation protection and impressive clarity. It also offers a very high light transmission, it is not discolored by radiation and its polished surface offers scratch resistance.
Depending on your needs, we offer three different EURO | RX products:
Medical
Protects doctors and staff from X-ray irradiation and facilitates remote control of X-ray equipment when the glass is larger.
Industrial
Used in airport baggage inspection equipment as well as radiation test equipment for industrial products.
Nuclear
Commonly used in radioactive storage stations, nuclear fuel development and reprocessing plants, and for applications near nuclear reactors.
EURO | RX - STANDARD
This leaded glass is a high optical quality leaded barium type glass, with more than 60% heavy metal oxide, including at least 55% PbO. It offers more than 80% light transmittance and does not fade due to radiation.

EURO | RX - Laminated
RX-Laminated protective glass is composed of a top layer of 3mm float glass, a middle layer of safety laminate PVB and a bottom layer of LX leaded glass with over 60% metal oxide heavy, including at least 55% PbO.

Windows
RX-Laminated glass is used regularly when a window is required inside a leaded door or on portable ray shields.
Specialized
For all applications where lead-lined safety glass is specified or required and must meet ANSI 297.1-1984 and 16 CFR 1201 Cat.
Sterilization
For use requiring cleaning, such as an X-ray control booth window, requiring frequent sterilization or which would be frequently touched.
Chemical
For use where chemicals are likely to be splashed, such as a viewing window in an angiography room.
RX-Premium glass features a multi-layer structure. It is manufactured by inserting RX-Standard lead glass between two protective laminated glass panels.
As a result, the outer standard glass panels will not stain or discolor, even when exposed to harsh chemicals. In addition to radiation protection, this glass offers excellent resistance to impact and shattering.
