These certifications apply to Euroverre tempered glass in the following thicknesses: 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm.

Heat-strengthened glass through thermal treatment
Tempered glass is produced through a thermal process designed to harden the material.
Also known as thermal tempering, this process heats the glass to temperatures between 570°C and 700°C, depending on its composition—close to its softening point—before rapidly cooling it.
This treatment strengthens the material, making tempered glass at least four times more resistant to impact than standard monolithic glass.
The purpose of tempering is to increase resistance to shocks by creating internal tension and surface compression.
Under strong impact, tempered glass breaks into many small, less sharp fragments, greatly reducing the risk of injury.
It also significantly reduces the risk of spontaneous breakage, and visual distortion such as roller wave becomes nearly invisible.
This process effectively secures monolithic glass that could otherwise pose a danger in case of breakage.

Thanks to a rigorous and controlled tempering process, Euroverre tempered glass reaches an exceptional level of performance.
Its resistance to bending and impact is up to five times higher than conventional annealed glass—making it ideal for applications where safety, durability, and reliability are essential.
